let me tell you something: this country started out so bright; a renegade slave uprose to kick out the french colonials, fighting for freedom that each person deserved. it was the only uprising that proved successful. such a shame how it’s history has been in peril ever since toussaint took over from them. and in it’s recent history, all kinds of terrible things have gone down. last year the hurricane, and now a major earthquake. i don’t know where i stand with up high in recent times, but i know at least a few words might help. my heart goes out to those effected.
